After a month of training & battling for 2 weeks with niggling injuries or sore muscles, I finally set a 16 step PB sprinting down a grass track!
2x 18 steps, 2x 17 steps, 1x 16 steps PB 😎, 2x 17 steps = Average PB of 120/7 = 17,14 steps

Implemented a different approach : 1x 17 steps, 2x 10 steps, 1x 17 steps, 1x 24 steps down the straight & around the bend, 1x 17 steps, 2x 24 steps in sand 😀

Quads too sore to run on the track or sand 😀
Did 2 sets of side steps & backward running without any pain 😁

Quads still too sore despite a rest day 😛
2x 21 steps, 1x 19 steps, 1x 18 steps, 1x 17 steps, 1x 16 steps (equalled PB) & 1x 17 steps (miss stepping onto the line instead of risk it for another 16 steps over the line) = Average of 129/7 = 18,42 steps 🙈

Only got in 3x 21 steps, 1x 20 steps, variety of 4 exercises ending with 1x 18 steps 👩 Quads still sore & feeling the strain in my vastus medialis!
The vastus medialis is one of four muscles in the anterior compartment of the thigh. It is involved in knee extension, along with the other muscles which make up the quadriceps muscle. The vastus medialis also contributes to correct tracking of the patella.

Rest day seems to have served me well, completing 3x 18 steps + 4x 17 steps into the wind = Average of 122/7 = 17,42 steps 😃 Not too shabby considering 😉
