SA athletics squad arrive in Beijing
Mbulaeni Mulaudzi, silver medallist in the 800m in Athens, and 400m Hurdler LJ van Zyl are considered the team's prime medal contenders along with World Indoor long jump champion Khotso Mokoena, who is over the knee injury reported last week.Marathon runners Norman Dlomo and Hendrik Ramaala will only join the 23-athlete squad later as their event is held on Sunday, August 24, the final day of the games. Previous New York winner Ramaala goes into the marathon with an outside chance of making the podium.
